Voice to Text on HTC Merge

Hello all.

Was wondering if any of you, fellow Merge owners, are using voice to text on your phones? Being a newbie I haven't figured out how to use it yet or if it's even available on the phone.

If you use this feature, I'd appreciate any help you could give me in using it on my phone.

Click on a box where you would enter text without opening the slide out keyboard.In the bottom row second from the left there should be a pic of a mic. click it and then it should ask you speak now. just talk as you normally would and stop when you are done and it will enter text. I have had mixed results with this but I am from south Georgia and have and accent. I think it is supposed to get better with use. Also there is a voice search widget you can put on your home screen and search the net and some different things with it. Like vlingo if you had it on a blackberry.
