Voicemail Help?

I have a Sony Xperia S
My Network is 02-UK

I have a Voicemail notification in the top left corner of my screen!
When I slide down at the top to show notifications, the Voicemail notification is there and even if I press 'Clear,' the notification stays!

Underneath it says 'Dial 1235' because that is the number I set for Voicemail on my phone because my phone never had one...

When I either press the notification it rings '1235' or if I manually ring '1235' it either tells me that this is an unknown number or it does this 'Speaking Clock' thing.. It says: "At the 3rd stroke, the time bought to you by 02 will be [specific time (hh:mm:ss)]

This is very frustrating, as this is a new phone and I have already had to replace the model once!
