Voicemail Icon HELP

I have the "voicemail icon won't go away" problem and have tried everything: calling myself from another phone to leave a massage, restarted the phone, *4 then *1 to toggle voicemail icon on/off.... nothing works.

I'm not using Google Voice and it has never been set up. I really like this phone (new to Android), but this BLOWS. Anyone have a VZ specific tip to fix this?

Try calling customer care to see if they can reset your voice mail...

Beware of the notorious fix all answer from Verizon. Master reset. :banghead:

I ended up calling VZ support. They were very nice, and tried everything - but nothing worked. I ended up do a clean install. It's gone. Just hope it was a glitch and not a reoccurring thing.
