Voicemail in Call Logs

Hey,

I've long used Google Voice to manage my voicemails. Sometime in the last few months, I stopped getting voicemail notifications from Voice, and started getting them from the Call Log in the phone app. That would be OK, I guess, but it gives me notifications for every voicemail I have over and over again until I delete them. Voice is still downloading my voicemail messages, but I can't find a way to make it my default for voicemail. The "App Info" on the voicemail notifications that I get takes me to the "Contacts" app. The "Show Notifications" box is checks, grayed out, and is unchangeable.

Is there a way to get Contacts to stop fetching and announcing my voicemails?

I have this same issue. I set up Google voice for my voice mails a while ago and now the built in voice mail app (call log, phone app?) Just keeps turning on a notification that I have a new voicemail. Over and over and over. Multiple times a day. They must be a way to turn this off.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Voice, and things seem back to normal.
