Voicemail Issue

Hey Ya'll,

I am having an issue and am stumped (even though it may be a simple fix).

I don't have voicemail. When some one calls me and is offered to leave me a voicemail, all it says to the caller is "Leave your message and it will be converted to a text" and blah blah sent to me. Firstly, that doesn't work. I never get the texts.
Secondly, I don't even want to use that.

I've gone through the VM settings by dialing it, and I even made my own greeting. It still won't work. I have tried with and without Google Voice and I believe it is unrelated to GV.

I feel like a noob. What is wrong?

I would contact customer service. Seems they may not have voicemail set up on your line properly.
