Voicemail notification - how to clear

This has typically been a qlitch on Sprints side of voicemail notification clear's sent. But is there a feature on the Epic 4g that allows a global clear of notifications? Thanks

Voicemail icon has been on for 3 days, no messages new, messages new, listened to and deleted. Still there! Annoying as hell....

Try and dial voicemail and create a message. Send it to yourself. I did that and it cleared.
