Since I've updated to lollipop, I've have a bunch of issues. One I just found out now is that I'm not getting my voicemail notifications when someone leaves me a message. I called someone back cause I noticed I had a missed call and they told me they left me a message. When I checked my voicemail, I had over 10 new messages that I didn't get any notifications for. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix this issue?

How old was the oldest voicemail? Ever since getting my 1st cell phone circa 2000, there's always little hiccups when it comes to timely/immediate delivery of voice mails and text messages. Usually just an hour or two and occasionally in excess of 24 hours. I don't think this is a problem that is specific to a particular carrier, phone manufacturer, or model. There's hundreds of millions, if not billions of people using cell phones around the world. That's a lot of data being transmitted through space and just like our road and highway system, sometimes there's a lot of back up and it takes you longer to get from A to B.

I have found that if I'm ever in an area without signal for more than an hour or 2 (I live in the sticks, so this happens often), there will be significant delays in messages being pushed through to my phone once I reestablish signal. But if I reboot my phone after getting signal back, my messages are delivered almost immediately upon restart.

Oldest one was from the day after I updated to lollipop, which was May 08, 2015. I haven't had one voicemail notification since. It's now May 16.

I personally haven't had any issues with my S5 since updating, however, my wife on her LG G3 is unable to get the notifications unless she has her wifi turned off. Try turning your wifi off and see if the voicemail comes through.

What carrier do you use? I know with AT&T there are 2 vm options (other than 3rd party apps). 1 is the stock vm that you access through your dialer. The other is at&t visual vm that you access through the visual vm app. I've noticed that, at times, notifications from visual vm have some delay before being delivered. But it's still usually just anywhere from 5-30 min. Had 1 or 2 exceed several hours.

Other than checking your vm settings or rebooting your phone, I'm not sure what else to suggest.
