VoLTE/HD Voice Compatible?

I've been trying to do a little bit of research during my down time to see if the Verizon HTC One would be compatible with Verizon's HD voice rollout in early 2014 but have come up with no details for this particular device. I'm too unfamiliar with the topic to know if this is a software or hardware option but was curious if anybody has heard anything about this. I know I've read that the GS4 and at least one or two other devices has been confirmed for compatibility. Verizon hasn't been ignoring the topic as much as just not bringing it up. (May be due to the fact that other carriers have/are rolling this upgrade out this year.) I have had people who have tried this on other carriers tell me that it is a massive difference compared to what we've grown accustomed to with current call quality while likening it to a skype-like call quality. I can say that with my current Galaxy Nexus (which I grumble towards daily due to call quality) that if the difference is that large it would be a huge selling point for me.

If there hasn't been any confirmation or any information available to make an educated guess on this topic, where would be the best place to begin looking for this information? I'm finally towards the end of my wits and will likely be selecting a device to upgrade to sometime this week.
Thanks for any help!

Once VoLTE gets rolled out. Verizon will not be allowed lock down their phones like they are now. This is good news for the Nexus lovers:-) Google will be able to send out OTA's directly, bypassing approval from Big Red.
