Volume always goes low

My ringer volume always goes low, and unless I'm looking right at the phone, I won't know when it's ringing. I push the volume rocker button on the right side in the centre and it shows volume levels of silent, priority or sound. I'm assuming that, in in your pocket, I push that button accidentally and it adjusts the volume. So is there a way to turn off that, so you can't accidentally turn the volume down???

Try searching the Google Play store for "volume lock". There appear to be a lot of apps for solving that problem.
