Volume and Ok Google problems?

[Android Central Question]

I was watching a video, and my volume exploded up to the maximum. I didn't press anything, and I checked to make sure I wasn't pressing the button on my ear buds, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how it kept happening. I'm also having trouble with Google. All of a sudden it will just pop up 'listening and interrupt my music. I tried messing around in settings, but there wasn't anything related to microphone or voice search. I can barely use my tablet anymore, so it would be much appreciated if someone has an answer to this.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this only happen when you're using the earbuds, and are these wired or Bluetooth earbuds?
