Volume and Sound Profile changes by itself

This is my second DNA and both have done this. If I have the phone set on vibrate or really whatever volume and I listen to something though Bluetooth or wired headset, when I discount the headset or turn off the Bluetooth headset the sound profile will change by itself.

Example, I will have it in vibrate mode when at work. I will be listening to a podcast though a wired headset. If I pull the headset out the volume on the phone will turn on. So if I don't notice the change, go into a meeting and someone calls or text my sound is turned back on.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Thanks in advance

The sound settings are not persistent across profiles. There is a separate sound profile for bluetooth connections, a separate profile for headset connections, and a separate profile for the speaker. Changing the volume in one profile will not change the settings for the other. In my case, I almost always keep the media volume muted for the speaker, but turned all the way up for bluetooth when connected in the car, and about half when a headset is connected.

I have the same problem. It seems the sound settings have a mind of their own. I set everything and then later check again and sound settings seem almost randomly changed.

I was in a meeting when someone called me and my ringtone was turned up all the way. I NEVER set my ringtone to 100%. I always find that my games volume is set to about 70%. I always set it at 0% or about 15%. It always changes itself randomly as was already mentioned above by someone else.

I use the Motorola Assist app that is already installed. I'm not sure if it causes the problem.
I was trying to use Google Navigate and it wouldn't talk to me either. My volume had set itself to 0 for some reason. Maybe my phone thinks Navigate is a Media/game?? Either way, turning up the volume didn't fix it.

PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!

I have this problem as well. I'm not sure if I installed an app that caused this to start happening, but it was not this way for many months after I got the DNA. In any case, I downloaded the app Volume Locker, and it seems to keep my volume settings consistent.

I had this problem for a long time. When I was NOT using Bluetooth, it did not happen, only when BT was turned on. The fix came when I upgraded to the latest firmware. I still have some odd BT instances of static, but the profile problem went away.
