Just noticed the difference between my wife's S8 Plus and my S8 Plus have different volume controls. Mine has two buttons for volume up and down and my wife has a rocker for volume up and down. Does anybody know why this is and which one is an older one? I guess my real question is is why did they change it?

Are you sure you're not confusing the bixby button for the volume down?

I'd like to see a photo of the two phones. I'm pretty sure every S8 Plus has a volume rocker with a Bixby button below it.

In case, and I don't have another camera at the moment.

I think that answers the question actually. Your case separates the rocker into two buttons. My Tech 21 case does too. The phone has a rocker volume button though. Not two separate buttons.

I was fooled too. The case deceived me into concluding that I had two separate volume buttons. The joke was on me.
