Volume Control Question

Coming from iPhone I'm used to the Vibrate/Kill all volume switch on the side of the device.

With the Moto X when I place it on vibrate, the media volume stays up, so when I open a game it goes bonkers with sound. I find this decidedly annoying.

Is there a master all volume down vibrate switch, or a suitable app to make that happen?

I found a widget that with a bit of tweaking of settings does the job fine. Look up slider widget in the Play Store.
