Hey all. Has anyone noticed their speaker volume being inconsistent since lollipop? Most notably is the alarm. There have been days that it is very loud and others I had to make sure the volume was turned up because it was pretty quiet. Luckily I was up this morning and waited for my alarm to go off. It went off but it was very quiet, if I was still asleep there is no way I would have heard it which is opposite yesterday because it woke my wife up it was so loud. I have changed the tone but it hasn't made any difference. Anyone else have this?

The only time I've seen is an issue with Bluetooth. If I listened to music and turned the headset off before I stopped the music, all of my notifications would be low until a reboot.

Is it possible you're doing this? You would need to turn the music off then the Bluetooth headset.

Not even sure it is a BT issue. I noticed the other day that, somehow, my call ringer volume was very low for no reason at all. I always keep my ringer at max volume, so no idea how the volume setting got so low. I use the priority setting during the night, so wondering if there is a bug somewhere that is not properly resetting tone volume for some reason.

I use Priority every night with no issue. But it could always be a bug.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been using a Bluetooth Stereo lately and my bluetooth is still on (stereo however is off). I also us Priority at night so I'll look into that as well. Thanks again for the help.

You can leave Bluetooth turned on at all times. The issue I've noticed is that if I listen to music but turn off the Bluetooth source (headset, speaker) before I shut down my music application, the notification volumes are much lower until I reboot.
