So i just got an S7 last week and its a great phone! Its replacing my iPhone 5s and its done an outstanding job so far! There's one issue though... its with the volume output through the headphone jack.
The guy at the AT&T store transferred all my music from my 5s to the S7, and it all went over fine. The cover art became pixelated in the process, so i figured the files were compressed. When i used the music in the family cars (Pontiac Bonneville and Ford Taurus) through the aux cord, i found that i had to crank it way up in the car's stereo just to hear it. I plugged my 5s into both cars for a comparison, and i can get much louder sound out of the 5s at full volume vs the S7 at full volume.
I figured it was just the music compression, so i deleted all the music off the S7 and redownloaded them directly from my computer which was giving the same files to my 5s. No change. I have tried several volume boosting apps on the S7, but they only boost the ear speaker and the main speaker at the bottom, not the headphone jack. Im sure its not an issue with either of the cars or the aux cords, because both gave the same results when compared to the 5s.
Do you guys have any solutions or advice? Thanks!
