volume issue

For some reason, anything I do now on my xoom, either volume notch one, or Max, plays in Max volume. Even sometimes when I turn volume off, it still plays full volume. Never had this problem before. Same thing happened with headphones plugged in once, played full through speakers.

Any ideas?

It happened to me as well. I just reboot the Xoom and it goes back to normal volume control.

but then it happens again later on? I just happen to play it at the worst time, when it needed to be very quiet

It happened to me about 3-5 times when I first got the Xoom. After each reboot, it seemed to happened less frequently. After 2 weeks, it never happened to me again.
