Volume Issues

My Edge has started to auto-mute itself, and the volume becomes unadjustable when this happens.
Restarting the phone solves the issue temporarily, before it happens again.

Any idea what might be going on? :/

Go into system settings > sounds. Make sure the sound levels are set appropriately. Also, have you installed anything recently that would automatically adjust certain settings? If you installed an app that sets certain profiles, such as sound controls, then that could be the source. If nothing fixes your problem I would suggest going into recovery (power off the device, hold home+volume down+power) and use the volume buttons to highlight clear cache and press power to select. Reboot and see if that fixes the problem.

Apparently, it was my music app that was causing the issue. I've swapped to another, tested for a day and all seems well now.
