Volume modification..

Hello, I am new here, and it seems you guys have some good advice. So, here is my issue, hopefully you can help me out; My volume sucks.

I have an AT&T HTC Inspire 4G, I have recently rooted the phone, and am unsure as to the validity of numerous ROMs I have found online. I do not trust most of them, and to be honest, I'm scared of 'bricking' my phone. I just want the volume to be boosted, nothing further. Is there any way to do so? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Head over to xda and download the audio fix zip. Flash it through cwm and that should help.
