Volume questions

The volume on my S6 keeps turning up and down on it's own. I notice it mostly when I am on YouTube, but it has also done it while listening to music in the music app, with earbuds in. Anyone else have this problem or know a fix?

Have you tried using different earbuds? It might be bad wiring on the earbuds or in the earphone port itself, since those can send/receive signals to control playback and volume.

It happened to me once with a Note 4, where the volume would suddenly go all the way down. Turned out it was the earphones having a bad connection. Changed the earphones, no more volume issues.

Headphones with controllers can do this accidentally.

Same thing happened to me with the S4. Highly suggest trying new ear buds.
