Volume rocker issue when screen is off

Just started experiencing something new and unwanted. Typically when the screen is off the volume rocker becomes unusable, nothing will happen. Well recently I noticed it will change the volume. It’ll put it to silent, vibrate and/or full ringtone. This is very very troublesome especially when I’m in a place that I need it to be silent. Has anyone experienced this and has found a fix? I can reboot my phone and it fixes the issue but I’m not about to have to do that ALL the time. Thanks in advance!

You could try wiping the cache partition. Here's a link that explains that.

If that doesn't fix it you could try deleting any recent app you downloaded.

It's "my" version of Pandora. ; )
I just force closed it and it fixed the issue. Oh well!
