Voodoo Sound Plus on Rooted Gingerbread?

I had previously rooted my stock Froyo Infuse using Super One Click, and was able to load and use Voodoo Sound Plus (the version containing the required kernel) with no problem. Recently flashed the rooted stock Gingerbread ROM ( option A in this thread [ODIN][UCLB3] AT&T 2.3.6 Gingerbread with root and CWM recovery option - Infuse 4g - xda-developers ) and while Voodoo Sound Plus does load on the phone, it does not seem to have any effect on the sound, nor does the Voodoo icon appear in the status bar once the headphones are plugged in.

Anyone here have any experience with that? Tried to ask over at XDA, but as a newly registered member there, guess I don’t have posting privileges.

Thanks.

EDIT - now appears to be resolved. I was having some other minor issues with the phone since installing the rooted stock GB ROM, so last night I did a clean wipe and reinstalled the ROM, and it appears to have resolved the Voodoo Sound issue as well as the othere issues I was having.
