VZW HTC unlocking?

Just got a system update yesterday, not really sure what it changed. Anyway, is it possible to unlock the Verizon HTC One now so that it can be used on the Tmobile network? I am looking at a month of international travel soon, and I want to activate my old Blackberry on Verizon and have it sit at home while I start a Tmobile two month contract while I am abroad since it has the unlimited calls and data now.

Does the Verizon HTC One have to be unlocked, or can I just swap the Verizon SIM out and a Tmobile one in?

I don't think there's a subsidy lock at all.

Sorry, does that mean I can just put a Tmobile SIM in there? Verizon won't charge me?

Yes, All Verizon 4g phones are unlocked due to them buying a large amount of spectrum and Verizon was forced by FCC to have all there sim phones unlocked.
