VZW July Security Patch pulled?

This update popped up on my S8+ this morning but I deferred it since I was getting ready for work. Good thing, Droid Life is reporting that Verizon has pulled the changelog and there may be issues with the patch borking wifi calling and possibly other items. If it's still available, apply at your own risk...

That's better than one poster reported here. I don't remember the phone or carrier, but the last update ate Android right off the phone.

I'd rather get an update a week late than be without the phone for a week. (And it's a pain putting a nanoSIM into a phone that uses a microSIM - my spare, even though I have an adapter. I always need about 3 more hands.)

No issues for me either. Downloaded it first thing in morning and made a wifi call directly after.

FWIW, my S8+ shows this update as "failed", checking my current status shows I'm still on the June security patch, and checking for updates reports that my phone is up to date. Hmmmmm...no July Security Patch for me?

I concure on the failed update. I deferred to the next morning and let it update but didn't even check to see what became of it until just now. Just like above it list the july update as failed. Bad samsung.

AT&T has sent this update out too, starting on the 16th. I got it this morning (17th). Works fine so far.

Can't speak to wi-fi calling as I don't use that.

Kind of surprised with AT&T. I've had this phone almost a year, and this may be the quickest they've released a security patch - within 2 weeks of its dated patch level release.

Mine hasn't since the oreo update. Says it is, but it takes over 2 hours to charge from around 30 percent.
