Did the factory reset. Didn't help. Took it in to Ubreak ifix and it's getting the main camera replaced under warranty.Ok , hopefully that solves the camera issue.
Ok, at least it's warranty, thanks for being patient and going through the steps try solve it . Good luck and enjoy it after it's fixed.Did the factory reset. Didn't help. Took it in to Ubreak ifix and it's getting the main camera replaced under warranty.
I found it interesting that if I open the camera app, the focus is blurry. Then give the phone a little shake, it focuses. Close the camera app and reopen the app. It loses focus again.
Oh well, glad it's under warranty.
Dont have anything from June yet....I'm not confusedI think you guys are getting confused
The update May came in June, so Samsung /carrier put out may security patch plus if any enhancements with it .
Mike you got 2
1. is may security patch
2. Was probably something Verizon push out
I have the wifi calling now but why would i want it?
i guess I have never experienced that anywhere I go except farm country in Connecticut where there was no wifi either. At home and work and everywhere in between VZW signal is adequate for phone calls. When you aren't near a cell tower or in a fringe and still have access to WiFi it works great
The confusion is that people are mixing up firmware updates with security updates. A firmware update is identified by its version number (for a given phone model, the last four characters suffice), whereas a security update is identified by the security patch date (usually the first of the month). A firmware update may or may not include a new security update, and may or may not include changes or additions to other features that are unrelated to security.I think that would indicate some confusion - on Samsung's part. Google doesn't release updates more than once a month. They couldn't just combine their patches with Google's patches? Everyone else does.
That's because there is confusion about which update is whichThis thread went way off topic , OP complain about camera issue and we talking about updates ,which is another thread on this .
This not about updates, OP had a "camera" issue after a update .That's because there is confusion about which update is which
OP has an issus after an update makes it about updates but in the wrong context because of the thread title. This not about updates, OP had a "camera" issue after a update .
Agreed, but we have another issue , there's another thread with same title.OP has an issus after an update makes it about updates but in the wrong context because of the thread title.

Lol yesWell aware of that Robin..if this thread title were changed it might remedy the situation.
