VZW - Razr Maxx now $199

Price drop has hit - Maxx is now $199 on Verizon. I went to their website, when I put into my cart for 2 year upgrade price dropped to $149 (add $30 for "upgrade fee".

I just heard the commercial for the price drop. When I check their site, they have the Razr and the Razr Maxx both at 199.00. I picked up the Nexus last week, but with the signal issues I may swap it for the Maxx. I like vanilla Android (and ICS) with no bloatware, but I also like to make/receive phone calls.

*Edit - I normally get my phones at Best Buy and can't find any in stock in my area, do the VZW stores have them readily available??

The DINC LTE is not a high-end device(though I like the S4 processor a lot). No word on VZW's SGS3 release date but odds are it's not close. That leaves the Motorola Droid Fighter(MAXX HD)'s imminent release as the reason for the price drop. IMO, now is the perfect time to buy the MAXX.

How did you get the 50.00 discount? I just tried it but no discount?

I'm not sure. It was there this morning, didn't get chance to place order as I had to head out to catch train. When I went back this afternoon the discount was no longer applied. Going to try when I'm at home and see if it shows up again.

Just checked back at home - shows as $149.99. It's not phone for primary account.

The $149.99 price is legit for an upgrade. Glad I waited. I was going to purchase last week for $229.
