He said that is not VZW talking, that is me talking but that the GNex has known issues with the radios. That made me feel better because at least the PTB are aware of it. It was frustrating to keep getting told that there are no known issues with the GNex when I knew that couldn't be the case.

We've known that since the week after it was released. Heck, we knew about it BEFORE the phone was even released.

I know, but it was frustrating getting told there are no known issues with the phone when I knew that couldn't be true.

I noticed that Amazon wireless dropped the price of the GNex to $100 for new accounts after the holiday return period was up. At one point they couldn't keep them in stock. I am sure that they got tons of exchanges/returns of the GNex and now the demand for the phone is much lower and that explains the price drop.

I sure hope they can fix the problems. I really want to keep my phone and my $200+ worth of accessories!

VZW also says the sun rises in the west and there are no known issues with it rising in the east.

I had a rep just tell me that Verizon does not block apps from the Market. I took a screenshot of Google Wallet not being blocked, in case I hear that BS again.
It surprises me how little the technical support reps know and the variety of answers one can get from them.

Verizon doesn't block wallet, google does.

At the request of Verizon. The same goes for the tethering apps.

No, not at the request of Verizon. In case you haven't noticed, wallet is supported by all of two handsets right now. It is blocked because google does not support it on any device except the Nexus S 4g and the AT&T compatible galaxy nexus.

Pay attention closely, because this is the first and last time I will say this:

The lack of Wallet access in the market on the Verizon Nexus has absolutely nothing to do with Verizon and everything to do with Google not supporting it yet. It will come when Google wants it to. Google also had contracts with Sprint that prevented the inclusion of Wallet on the Verizon Nexus, but judging by the recently launched support for unlocked phones, it seems that contract may be expiring. Anything else you've heard or read, including from that link you posted, is wrong. End of story.

What makes you so sure about this? You sound like you have definative proof of your claim. Where is the info coming from?

I dont care who blocked it... I got it on my VZW GNex .. and that is all that matters. lol
