W.I.F. = WHERE IS FROYO?

I know HTC said Froyo would be available for the myTouch
family before Christmas but DAMN! Think we will see it before
Thanksgiving? I sure as hell hope so. I realize I can root my
phone and get Froyo ROMs but I am not into rooting and know
NOTHING about it. Has anybody heard ANYTHING about Froyo?
ANYTHING?!?

I wish we knew when all I hear is this phone is getting froyo and this one just got it I jusy wanna know about the mytouch 3g slide.

There's been no word on it at all, I'm beginning to think that they have forgotten about the Slide with all these other Android phones getting Froyo instead. The Slide may be one of the last phones to get Froyo I think.

I've tried the Froyo ROMs that are available, but I honestly don't see much difference, except some minor user interface changes. I always end up going back to a stock espresso rom because I like the HTC Sense apps like the clock, calculator, camera, etc. I think they are better than the stock Android apps.

Answer to all Froyo

i contacted t-mobile on Saturday was told that failed the network test from a android tech support adviser. it has been send back HTC

@ButteredToast, I do like Espresso too. I think I will just wait it out because like you said, the ROM's arent much difference and we dont get the HTC widgets and apps. Guess we will just wait out the wait... If that makes sense...
