Waaayy inaccurate battery indicator?

Has anyone reset their phone to find 10-15% of their battery life gone? There's no way resetting consumes that much battery... went from 48% to 34% from a reset, which makes me think the indicator is off. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue. have not seen many posts regarding this. also after charging ALL night last night<at least 8 hours+> the device showed 97% plugged back in and charged for a good hour to get 100%. bump charge has been done last weekend.

Well the thing that makes me wonder is it's not just my widget that's displaying the drop, it's battery monitor from the market. So either resetting consumes that much power, or both programs aren't getting an accurate reading at some point.

Nope, because I specifically said this is about battery life many hours after my phone's been unplugged. I get bumpcharging.

I reset my phone again just for the hell of it, and lost 10% battery life, so I do wonder if resetting your phone consumes that much battery. If so, that's nuts.
