Wait...htcsense.com is BLOCKED by verizon?

I guess it's only available to Incredible S owners (in Europe). Yes, the Inc 2 is the same phone, but that's life in lawyer-locked USA. hehe

Just got a response from HTC and they say that htcsense.com is and will not be supported for the Incredible 2.

Take your complaints to HTC.

It's not because of HTC though, Verizon is supposedly rolling out their own version of this and just like they offer vcast sync instead of HTC sync software for your computer, they're doing the same for this. There were a few good features that the s has that we will unfortunately never see.

It isn't verizon. It's HTC. I contacted them as well and they said as of right now, the Dinc2 isn't supported. The site is still in beta and they don't want to rule out phones so they are not saying "it will never be supported".

Verizon can roll out whatever they please. Isn't going to stop HTC from doing a website for their phones. Verizon puts VZ Navigator on all their smartphones and for what? You get maps for FREE on all android smartphones that are compatible with it. And now that google has updated their mobile google maps page, you don't even need to use the app to use it.

I am hoping HTC adds the Dinc2 to the line of phones that are supported on HTCsense.com. I, too, was very disappointed it was left out of the beta. We'll see when it goes live.

For a guy that?s never had an HTC phone, what does htcsense.com do for you?

It's an online account you can use to make your phone ring in your house to find it, locate it via gps anywhere, lock it and forward calls to a new number that people who find your phone can call, full phone and sd card wipe, I think it also has a full sync option to save everything but so far even the HTC sync doesn't work for anything but pictures and music with our phone. There are a few other things but you can look it up on htcsense.com. As far as I heard Verizon has exclusive rights to the Incredible 2 and that's why there's S support only but that's just what I heard from a Verizon exec that I know... we'll see I guess. ESET has a program in beta now that does some of the same things but you need to factory reset your phone to make them an admin so I didn't try it.
