I believe it can. U probably just have to change it in the apps settings. Most likely a preset to save you from using to much data if your on a tiered plan.

I an having the same issue but can not for three life of me figure out how to change it from wifi only to the VZW network.

electriclineman - I had the same problem and here is what you do:

1- open motocast (my music)
2 - open settings
3- click MotoCast settings
4- click MotoCast upload settings
5- Click Data connection and choose your preference.

Finito!
