Wake Screen for Notifications

Is there any way to make it so the screen wakes when a notification comes through? I've looked but I can't find anything.

Usually this only works on stock messaging apps and phone dialers, but other apps' notifications won't wake the screen unless they have a specific feature that allows it.

You might try to find a 3rd party notification-management app that allows it, though. I'm not sure if LightFlow does it, but that's a popular one. Personally, I usually want the opposite, so as soon as I get a phone I switch the messaging app to one that allows the screen NOT to turn on when I get a message.

There's a perfect app in the PlayStore I use for this exact same issue. It's called 'Screen Notifications' by Luke Korth and it lets you set how long you want the screen to wake for and how brightly so you can see the notifications in your lockscreen.

Ps (don't Grant the app Device Admin Permission though, it doesn't function nearly as well with it set on for some reason.
