waking up the phone

How would one wake up the phone besides the power button on the side or the fingerprint scanner on back? Is there some kind of tap to wake function like on the LG G5 or HTC 10? Coming from a Galaxy I really like the ability to wake up the phone from the front facing physical button. Thx.
