wallpaper and style

I just got android 12 on my note 20u at&t. When I go into wallpapers and style the image for the wallpaper on my home screen does not match my actual homescreen wallpaper but it does for my lock screen. My homescreen wallpaper is of kylo Ren not sure why that blue screen is showing up in the wallpaper and style?

When I select my Wallpaper in AT&T, it asks me if I want it on "Homescreen" - "Lockscreen" or "Both"! I selected a separate wallpaper for each and have a separate wallpaper for each, no "Blue screen"??? And it didn't appear to me, as if that interface changed after the Android 12 Update... same exact layout!

For some reason any image I use for wallpaper will be zoomed in so much that the sides are missing. Wish there was an option to use full image at original size.
