wallpaper motion effect missing

So I have had my s8 for a few days and I was setting a new wallpaper and the motion effect selection is missing to add to the effect

how are you setting new wallpaper? my "motion effect" option appears after the choice for which screens to set wp.

Not all wallpapers have that option. Only the stock ones will do it. Any other one you get from an app or online will not.

The stock ones have a little play icon on the top right corner that show they have the effect when you scroll through

I went in to the default apps and made sure touchwiz was set to home and that play icon means that its a animated wallpaper
