Wallpapers not hd

Ok I tried to refrain from posting this because it seems like a stupid question. But how come no matter what app the "hd", wallpapers are downloaded from when set to lock screen they are blurry.???

I get my wallpapers from Google Images. You can tell it to search for only 720 x 1280 images = exact screen size. Of course you can go bigger and just crop it on your phone when selecting it as your wallpaper.

Anything smaller than 720 x 1280, of course, will be stretched to fit the screen and thus lose quality.

You probably have a bad app giving you bad walls. Look for a good app or go to sites like Deviantart.com and get bigger images there and crop them down to size yourself.
