Walmart $30.00 5gb data plan could it be ending!!!

Just noticed that Walmart has reduced the price of their $30 activation kit with sim card to $29.88 from $39.

That looks like they are possibly just clearing them out as a prelude to T-Mo dropping the plan. Hope not but probably this deal with 5gb for $30.00 can't last forever.

That's a pretty big leap of inference. Of course, the reality is the plan could always go away, and since it's prepaid you could be kicked off even if you're already on it.

I am more inclined to think that T-Mobile would grandfather those subscribers in, though of course they can do whatever they want. I'm only hoping that they would grandfather those plans as Virgin Mobile grandfathered subscribers on the $25 plan when they increased it to $35.
