I want the Nexus to be my next phone but i'm used to using a lot of data. How the hell are people supposed to stay within these ridiculously low and at the same time expensive limits? How do you guys do it and does it suck as much as I expect? I might stay with sprint and unlimited but I WANT THIS PHONE!!

Vz seems to be running a promo this month where if you sign up for a $30 2GB plan they upgrade you to 4GB for free. Should make life a little easier for you.

The way you stated that is slightly misleading. It is only if you buy a 4g phone.

To the OP, you either have a bigger data plan or you pay $10 more a gb after your limit. What is more important to you? Unlimited data or this phone.

isn't the galaxy nexus a 4g phone? the promotion applies to the phone the op was asking about, so I didn't see the need to specify

I mean this without an ounce of internet sarcasm: thanks for clarifying =)

I just didn't want someone to read that and then think that a 3g phone would get the same promotion. :-)

I have unlimited data so I don't have to worry but if I were in your shoes I would connect to wifi if I knew I was coming up to my data limit. Also, sprint will eventually get the Nexus. Personally, I would stick with sprint because of losing unlimited data.
