Want to buy Tmobile S2 soon...

My wife misplaced her Vibrant 2 weeks ago. I was hoping to hold out for the S2 since I she is off contract. Called Tmobile and the rep couldn't say when it would be available. Trying to avoid cancelling the plan since we want to keep the number and some grand fathered plan options. Also don't want to spend for a cheap bridging phone and new SIM when I would get both with an upgrade. The big downside is the "Fall" release date (SIGH!)

Can you guys think of any other option but to keep the line open and wait for the S2 to be released?

Pick up a used phone on craigslist to hold her off for a little bit then sell it once you get the GS2.

I agree. Wait a bit with a used phone cause the T-Mobile GSII is rumored to be the last GSII to come out in the US sometime in October.
