Want to reinstall app but now it's not compatible anymore

Hi,
I use a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 (yes I know that's ancient, but it works fine for me).
I've used the Nike+ Running app for years without problems. Yesterday, one of my runs didn't show up and I got advised by Nike Support to deinstall and then reinstall the app. Which I can't do, because it now says in the Play store that it's not compatible with my phone anymore!
I really want to get this app back, it always worked on my phone, I don't want to switch to a different one. How can I do this? Can I restore the app somehow? Are there any older versions out there?

Try and find an old apk file on the Web, just try googling it
