You are probably sick of Itunes. So am I. But yesterday, as it happens, I did a side by side comparison of my Ipad air and the Tab S. The speakers on the Samsung are not as good. Since I often use my Ipad without headphones, this has given me pause.

I'm trying to decide between the two. I keep hearing about IOS's closed ecosystem and restrictions but don't fully understand this issue. What specific limitations are you referring to? Can jailbreaking remove these limitations?

I'm not trying to convince you to go IOS, just trying to inform myself and make an un-biased decision. Thanks

I have four devices. Three Samsung and an Apple : Tab 2 - GN3, Tab S and an iPhone 5S. Granted the iPhone isn't an iPad. The phone is, for the most part, just a smaller version of the iPad. They being said, I PREFER my Samsung devices.
