Wanted : APK for non rooted phone - 5 screens

I tried out Launcher2 but it crashes like crazy.

Does anyone have an APK that's for 2.01 that has 5 screens rather than 3 that I can install in a non rooted Droid?

The one that they made is for root only.
You can try Home++, Launcher+, Panda.
They are all free and offer 5 screens.
If you want a stock 2.0.1 feel. Go with Launcher+ (search Intuitit in the market)

I don't want to use a Home Replacement since they slow everything down too much... that's why I was hoping someone had a native 5 screen.

They have tried but the Droid recognises the code and tries to overwrite the system app. Since that is locked down unless you are root, it would not allow it. With Launcher 2 which is the 2.1 home. It does not recognise the code as the 2.0.1 home thus accepting it as an apk on a non root Droid.

Launcher is a tiny file and is the exact same as having the stock home but with 5 screens.
Panda is bigger and has more issues.

I just went to the Market and people are complaining that Launcher on the Droid is very unstable.

Looks like I'm stuck with 3 screens....

I went there but there isn't that much information. I'm not looking for a heavy duty home replacement just something light to expand my screens.

You should just be patient, the developer of launcher2 is going to port the nexus launcher to droid 2.1 and because droid and nexus are both 2.1 the new launcher will likely run super smooth.

I hope that's true that would make my day. I'm pretty pissed at the fact that they are only leaving us with three screens on 2.1.

After looking around I have no choice but to wait. You guys have been great with the other APK's.

Same here. I want more than 3 screens, even if it is just 4!

I hope they pulled the announcement to make some more changes. Like 5 screens? A guy can hope.

I prefer a working Nexus Launcher APK to hope...

I tried the old one and had too many FC's but it was great having 5 screens again.
