I have ghost Armour carbon fiber on the back of my hox. I also occasionally use a case mate barely there case. I'm new to android phones so I'm not sure if it's normal for my one X to be heating up after I use it for a good 2 or 3 hours at a time. Any one have any ideas as to why it's heating up? It worries me cuz I bought this phone outright so technically there is no warranty.

Thanks in advance!
Caroline.

Mine also heats up from time to time. I'll be honest I thinks it's perfectly fine. All of my iphones Including the 4 got hot constantly as well as my galaxy sll. the HTC tends to get hot on the top right corner on the back of the device. Is this where It heats up for you too?

its perfectly fine. Its just the cores heating up coz u are using them.

You need to remember your laptop does the same but it has a fan to get rid of the heat from the processor.....your phone doesnt. You will cause no damage...If the phone gets too hot, it will flash the notification light red and green and then evenually will shut the phone down to prevent damage.

The whole build is unibody polycarbonate, and it's bound to get hot from the cores running in it...

That said, it's the fastest Android phone you can get now, and will only get even obscenely faster with Project Butter.
