Hey guys I'm sorry about this noob question, but what are the benefits of rooting? I know you can delete unwanted apps and use your evo as a wireless router. I really love my evo but I don't like the unwanted apps...

Yeah you can remove unwanted apps. Root=themes,custom rom,etc.
