Warranty period 2 years

It is good to see that the warranty period for the U.K. and Europe is a full 2 years. This has proved very useful in the past as it seems that other, Samsung, etc; devices have benefitted from this 2 year warranty period in their second year.

Does Samsung have 2 year warranties in the US? It seems that the 1 year duration is etched in stone here.:-\

No. Samsung only offer a 1 year warranty in the U.S. but a 2 year one for Europe and certain other countries/areas.

It's worth noting both Samsung and OnePlus only offer this 2 year warranty in Europe because it's required by law.

Pretty sure we'd get no warranty if they could get away with it...

It is. It'll probably go back to a year here when we pull out of the EU in a couple of years though

I doubt that very much unless we write it out of our laws.
