Warranty Policy?

I received my Nexus 4 in the mail last year, around New Years, and love it. But it has a few issues. I was wondering what the warranty policy for devices bought from the Google online store, and if Google can replace my Nexus 4 with a new one, maybe even give me a nexus 5 (pay maybe $100 for trade in). Does anyone know this? If you know, please help. Thanks.

When mine stuffed up I asked the same question and they said no and sent me a new nexus 4, you better call them before your contract runs out
