So, I'm one of the poor people who has been experiencing the dreaded "Low on space" issue after getting upgraded to 2.3.4. After playing "clear data roulette" for the past week or so, I decided I'd had enough and called Verizon support.
The good news is they are willing to send me an Incredible 2 at no cost to replace my Incredible. The bad news is my phone somehow lost its camera lens frame/bevel. Since there is apparently a huge disconnect between Verizon support and their warehouse, no one on the phone or in the stores knows if they will look at it and simply send my replacement or determine that the missing bevel could have caused my issues and charge me $299.99.
Has anyone experienced an issue like this and been successful or gotten charged the money? I'm not above ordering a replacement bevel and trying that, but ordering one from Hong Kong and waiting 2 weeks isn't my idea of a quick resolution.
Maybe I should just give in to CyanogenMod and wait for my upgrade time in 9 months.
Thanks!
