I just got a Tour in the mail from Verizon that I'm selling to get a Droid. Will I get Verizon's warranty with this Droid, or am I out of luck if something goes wrong?

If they phone is new then yes the manufacturer's warranty still applies to you and VZW will serve as a warranty agent.. If it is used however they warranty only applies to "the first consumer purchaser" of the phone (I just checked).

So basically if you buy a phone on ebay or craigslst of wherever and the phone is used then the warranty is null and void unless the seller specially gives you a warranty.

I bought mine one ebay as new for about $150 below retail and so the warranty is still good. I also called Verizon and told them that the phone was a retail purchase (true, they person I got it from was a VZW reseller) I was able to get them to add the insurance which you also can't have on a used phone.
