Was just on a call, and got some texts while talking and the phone buzzed my ear off

How do I change that? Seems like a lame setting to sit there and buzz very loudly right in my ear when I'm trying to talk on the phone. It was multiple text messages in a string, and so it really disturbed my call

Go to your phone app, hit the 3 dots at the top right, then go to call alerts. From there you can see it.
