Was this design to fall flat?

Not once but twice the last 6 months, my Flip⁶ well from my pocket in a massage chair and today on physiotherapy table. No case.

Not a single chip, dent or scratch. I'm guessing it landed on it's flat surface?

I was going to say to Phone God's doesn't want me to upgrade but I pre-ordered the iPhone 17PM. The new design and Cosmic Orange got me.
