When I'm out with the Watch 5 Pro LTE and leave my phone behind the not connected to the phone icon is always stuck at the top of my screen.

How can I get rid of this icon while away from phone?

There's a setting to notify when disconnected in the Wearable app, but I don't know if it will remove the icon too.

Just went into the app to find and screenshot but I can't find it. Samsung must have removed it or it's an a different setting category and difficult (for me anyway) to find.

Yea, this is BS. Should not have to look at that icon the whole time I'm away from the phone on the LTE version.

Does the Bluetooth model have this same problem?

Yes, it comes up, but we BT model owners are less likely to stay disconnected for long.

Happens mainly when I leave my phone somewhere in the house and go out to the garage. It's actually saved me a few times as I've pulled out of my driveway realizing I forgot to grab my phone on the way out.

On my GW5 Bluetooth only, I get the disconnected icon at the top of my watch face when I'm disconnected from my phone.

Connected watch face & disconnected watch face...

I don't see a watch 5 forum, maybe I missed it.

Question I have for the 5 watch. I'm looking at the LTE VERSION and wonder if anyone has had the "watch is cooling down" warning that the watch 4 gets. I don't know if this is just the LTE version, just seeing if anyone has gotten this warning on the watch 5. The other day I got the warning on my watch 4 and I was sitting in a nice air conditioned building. Very annoying

EDIT... I FOUND THE FORUM. MODERATOR YOU CAN DELETE THIS POST. I ASKED IN MY OWN POST. THANKS

That happens when the watch has a weak LTE signal and wastes battery trying to maintain a connection. I saw that only ONCE on my Watch5 when I was charging it in an interior room in my house and had left the cell radio on. But I think they've fixed it via software updates. The other day I was somewhere with only one bar on my watch, and I didn't get a "watch cooling" notice.

Fingers crossed that this issue is a thing of the past!

So far, no overheating problems with my Verizon Watch 5 Pro LTE and we live in a rural area with a poor cell connection.

Did you buy from Samsung or Verizon? Someone on Amazon said their watch wouldn't activate on Verizon and had to buy direct from Verizon. I find that difficult to believe
